Since 1988, National Coming Out Day has been celebrated as an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the differences and diversity in all of us. The LGBTQ+ community is growing and encompasses a wide variety of gender identification with 5% of our population identify as such. Today is a day to support those who are taking the step to share their identity with love and acceptance.
